"A transparently bad faith smear campaign to punish him for being a successful politician while Muslim." Yes. The anger isn't new, the bigotry is just being amplified. If the criticism isn't about new revelations, it's a political weapon. Call it what it is: targeted Islamophobia. 🗣️

At this point I think it’s fair to say that most of the criticisms being lobbed at Mamdani are not out of genuine anger or surprise at any new revelations about him but are rather a transparently bad faith smear campaign to punish him for being a successful politician while Muslim
The President took a dementia test, then got an MRI, with no official explanation. A 6-month MRI is used to monitor severe Alzheimer's or Vascular Dementia. This is not a routine physical. Where is the media's relentless demand for transparency? The health of the POTUS is not a private matter!

So the president took a dementia test, and then they administered an MRI. Where’s the media on this?
Congressman Eric Burlison dismisses protestors as "tax recipients" who are "dependent" on the federal government. Irony alert: He literally gets his paycheck, housing allowance, and healthcare from the very same federal government. The call is coming from inside the house, sir. 🤦‍♂️ #Hypocrisy

Eric is a Missouri congressman.

He is quite literally dependent on the federal government for his paycheck, his housing, and his free healthcare. He’s a tax recipient.
When asked about the purge of senior ICE officials, Speaker Johnson's response: "I don't know any of the details." 🤯 Oversight is literally the job of Congress. How can the House be led by someone completely uninformed about a major internal shakeup in the Executive Branch? Unacceptable leadership.

Q: What's your reaction to yesterday's purge of senior ICE officials? When is it time for Congress to do some oversight?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know any of the details of that yet. I just heard about that, literally I was walking in.
Amazon just announced its largest layoff ever: 30,000+ workers losing their jobs. This isn't about affording to pay people; it's a ruthless choice to boost stock price and maximize profit. The human cost of Wall Street's demands is staggering. 💔 #AmazonLayoffs #CorporateGreed #Labor

"When did making kids go hungry become a Christian value?" It never did. The Bible is clear: "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." (Proverbs 14:31) Cutting food aid is a moral and spiritual failure, not a conservative one. 💔

The fact that the President genuinely confused a dementia screening test with an IQ test is deeply disturbing. The fact that zero "sycophants" will correct him is terrifying. This isn't just about mental fitness; it's about a total breakdown of accountability in the executive branch.

The President of the United States thinks a test for dementia is an IQ test, and none of his sycophants will tell him he’s wrong.

Let that sink in.

Challenge accepted, but only after you get off Fox News and earn a paycheck that isn't from Koch-funded advocacy groups. Being a full-time culture war grievance monger is a successful career, but it is not a job. Debates are fine, a tax-paying gig is better. #Grift #CultureWar

💰 The Duquette cartoon nails the priorities: Hundreds of billions for ICE and tax cuts, but SNAP/WIC are the first things threatened in the longest shutdown. The moral absurdity is deafening. Which budget line item is actually the problem? #Priorities #Shutdown #Poverty

The White House and the Half-Built Death Star: The perfect metaphor for the executive branch consolidating power while a paralyzed Congress is on vacation during the longest shutdown in history. The structure of our Republic is at stake. #ConstitutionalCrisis #Shutdown #ArticleI

I have a very bad feeling about this...
You nailed it. This isn't foreign policy; it's a tariff on disagreement. The entire premise—that the President can hike prices based on a TV ad—is exactly what the Supreme Court is weighing in the IEEPA case next month. It’s the ultimate test of executive limits. Checks & balances are on trial.

I don’t really think the framers intended for a president to have the power to slap a tariff on products from a particular country because he didn’t like a TV commercial they ran about him, but I suppose it is presently up to the Supreme Ct to decide how far the Mad King can go.
When the Executive Branch is actively creating chaos—from destroying national landmarks to escalating global crises and border brutality—the legislative failure is magnified a thousand times. Their "vacation" is a dereliction of duty. We need checks and balances, not complacency. #EndTheShutdown
