Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

as someone who has both run and played in dnd sessions of >10 players -- this is absurdity. and, there's a reason i haven't done it since the early 90s.

I've never actually seen Practical Magic before. With all due respect to critics in 1998... Uh... What the hell? This movie is great.
I mean, the last act could have used some work, granted, but this thing is juggling like 5 genres, twice as many tones, and making it look easy.
