The Moon, just one day past full, will occult Leo’s brightest star, Regulus, tonight (2/2). From West Michigan, Leo’s blazing heart suddenly disappears at about 8:45pm EST, only to dramatically reappear at 9:43pm. Make sure to observe the occultation with binoculars or a telescope for a better view.

Pretty cool western gull eye with their nictitating membrane half over their eye, who clearly thought the tourists had snacks, sorry dude, only 100-400mm with a 1.4x teleconverter!!!

I would just like to announce I feed my dogs. If u come to my house & offer them snacks or food they'll act like they've never seen it b4 like I have them subsisting via photosynthesis so just know that's not true. The sad pathetic faces are truly well rehearsed. I feed them. Don't get suckered.

The Pleiades star cluster (M45) captured over 25 hours. The blue glow is starlight reflecting off interstellar dust. The surrounding brown structures are the Integrated Flux Nebula, incredibly faint clouds lit by the glow of our entire galaxy.

I will go further and say that people using the "r"-word are hoping that bringing it back opens the door to bringing back the "n"-word, and is strongly correlated with the people who want to carve off trans rights as a stepping stone to claw back gay rights in general
I assume anyone who says this word is probably okay with the n-word, too. Or, more charitably, doesn’t understand why they shouldn’t say it just that saying it would get them in a lot of trouble.
