Wisconsin is electing all of its sheriffs this year, and several swing counties, such as Kenosha and Sauk, are currently run by sheriffs who have signed on to a key program to collaborate with ICE.

Anyone Trump doesn’t like is a “terrorist” and an enemy. He’s at the end, knowing he is exposed for the corrupt, vile, child-raping loser he is; so his play is to murder his enemies and burn America down.

It’s on us for giving him the power and it’s on us to stop it.
I swear this clip is not edited. Trump pivots from downplaying the killing of Renee Good and Alex Pretti ("two people out of tens of thousands and you get bad publicity") to in the very next breath claiming "we've been very tough on the waters," leaving Tom Llamas baffled ("the waters?")

The GOP has offered nothing this century except for catastrophic wars. No healthcare plan; no re-industrialization. Now they're losing their only issue, immigration, as people see the violence and havoc that comes with mass deportations.

To put it another way: Jeff Bezos could easily ensure there are no staff cuts at The Washington Post for the next decade, and he'd still have more than $249B in net worth left over.
Jeff Bezos' wedding last summer cost somewhere around $50M. That, alone, could have saved all 300 positions cut today at The Washington Post for a year.

Of course, he wouldn't have to choose. He could do both because he's worth $250B, which is nearly the GDP of New Zealand.

I'm going to a conference on Friday about the Supreme Court's reliance on "history and tradition," and truly one of the many many problems with originalism is how it often flattens & distorts history, creating jurisprudence that reflects the history of domination but not the history of resistance

It seems that the proclivity toward serious criminality (felonies) is far higher among ICE and CBP agents than among immigrants taken as a whole. Stats on this subject are persistent and offer the same results.

🚨 Tell your Senators to vote NO on the GOP’s so-called “SAVE” Act”, which would:

Require continuing voter purges w/ NO PENALTY for erroneous purges.

Subject election officials to potential PRISON TIME & citizen suits for mistakenly registering a single voter—even if the voter is a citizen! 1/

This wasn't the only incident where Vazquez has been seen aiming or firing directly at folks' heads (sometimes it's OC rounds, sometimes tear gas canisters) He did it in Chicago as well. Here he is on January 15 once again doing it to protesters and press outside Whipple:
