Don’t really care who wins the Packers/Bears game, but it does feel like a letdown when a good, well-played game like this one ends on just an awful play like that.

Incredible Sunday Night game to watch. Not sure a lot of it was, you know, *good*, but it was incredible to watch. The ump show (do we call them ref shows in the NFL?) didn’t help, but the mix of great and awful plays was near even. It’s not even a complaint - it helped make it close/compelling.

I swear there aren’t enough hook and ladders in football. Or at least in the NFL. It’s risky? So what?

Four consecutive intentional walks for tomorrow’s starting pitcher. Who also has multiple home runs tonight. I know we talk all the time about how weird this all is, but maybe not enough? This is peak Bonds at the plate, and he’ll start a World Series game tomorrow.
