I just picked up a bunch of followers. Congratulations on your excellent sense of taste and style! I make a lot of jokes, most of them at my expense, and will occasionally share with you the books I'm working on. As with all things Martin, keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed!

Will someone tell me why Europe gets the best covers? US cover on the left, European cover on the right. Come on, why we got this hand-in-a-lava-lamp thing when there's this sublime red masterpiece out there?

Only 2 weeks left to play (and rate!) the game people are calling "dreadfully funny!" When the Television Decides to Murder Your Girlfriend is a point-n-click text game where tentacled appliances are all in on helping you save your girlfriend from a evil TV. #ECTOCOMP2025

I’ve known fizzy a long time and can attest this book is clearly a well conceived labor of love. It’s chickens and swords, and just as fucking awesome as that sounds. 🐓+⚔️=👀

Sure thing. Steve Raimi always makes me laugh, and Mr. Del Torro has unmatched vision. #horrorwriterschat
Q4 - CREDITS

Obviously, we’re staying through all of the credits to acknowledge the work of the artists, the musicians, the designers, the directors…etc.

#HorrorWritersChat - Shout out some of the horror creatives you admire and share what they do.

Stay around for the outro to share your work.

A folk horror needs cider, & The Five Turns of the Wheel has a pub based on my childhood home, The Cider House.
I'd dish up a 'steakwich' alongside this.
This was popular amongst the farmers we used to serve and I liked it too!

Ooh, Katy O'Brian would be perfect as the antagonist who appears in my one of my Rose Marie stories, while Bella Higginbotham would be perfect as Rose Marie Sullivan.

I’m going to have to say a Shirley Temple (alcohol added if you ask nicely)
I would say it relates to my work because I often think of my scenes in grey, black, and red when I write, so I think a red drink is fitting. And also delicious.

Epidermal flan from Wilthaven

Bacon from Deep Down There

Oh no. UH.

Everything is exactly the same but the popcorn is dyed green? You can get crispy bacon on your movie theater hot dog.

Don't ask where the bacon comes from.

Bailey's Irish Creme for breakfast? We have found the reincarnation of James Joyce.
#Horrorwriterschat
#HorrorWritersChat My go-tos are coffee with a little Bailey's in it OR cold foam creamer and for some reason lately I'm on a peanut butter toast kick. If I've got both, I've just woken up, and it's time to start working lol

#HorrorWritersChat Well, pizza would obviously be a reference to Pizza Pete. A second reference to him would be nachos. Other foods I would include are sour candy to show good and bad moments. Lastly, caffeine drinks to show when someone is on the verge of panic.

The concession stand is nothing but living appliances from When the Television Decides to Murder Your Girlfriend. They're disappointed in your life choices and feel that cheese whiz is an affront to our shared sense of communal purpose.
Also, that water bottle will be 20 bucks.

I am terrible at this kind of thing and could probably spend the rest of the day trying to figure it out-- But it would definitely be a dream to see something come to life like that

(Or a nightmare, depending on how many details the director/writers want to change)
