Feminists are supposed to be the man-haters, but here's a guy who equates masculinity with murder.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

@susancampbell.bsky.social I am keeping myself from raging out against the boy "Despair is the way! We suck! They're so GOOD!" crew on your Substack, but boasting about it.

Grrrrr.

Contrary to what some liberal critics say, John Roberts has kept his pledge to only call balls and strikes. He never promised that the strike zone would be the same for Democrats and Republicans.

I was told by a reporter in October that the White House was looking to prosecute me because I stood against their inhumane agenda.

Days later, they did exactly that.

Broadview conspiracy defendants want to see if White House played a role in their case
A significant legal battle appears to be brewing in the case of six people facing federal charges tied to protests outside an immigration facility in Broadview.

Dude. Yes. Alito and Thomas are of course the standout examples, but all of the Republican justices have tells in their writing and their questioning indicating that they are, to varying degrees, marinating their brains in dumb bitch juice
My theory, fwiw, is that Supreme Court Justices are not immune to Twitter brain poisoning. I suspect all six have horrific information environments and have therefore lost the ability to understand the people who don't agree with them.
The part that I can't figure out is what John Roberts thinks he is doing. He used to seem to be a judge who was very attentive to appearances, I think on a theory that you can't draw too much attention to yourself without undermining your ability to continue to shape the law.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

A judge has ordered the unsealing of grand jury transcripts from the 2005 & 2007 investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act compels the DOJ, FBI and federal prosecutors by 19 December to disclose the tranche of materials amassed during investigations into Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein: US judge orders unsealing of grand jury records from abandoned case
A similar request was rejected earlier this year, but a law passed by Congress last month overrides it.

Siccing dogs on people is a slave tracker thing, a Bull Connor thing, a police brutality thing, a jackboot thug thing, an evil abuse of both dog and man which only a fully corrupted spirit could enact.
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Abolish ICE straight to The Hague (yeah, yeah, I know), but the community response to their attempted "shows of force", in multiple cities, is genuinely giving me a glimmer of hope in all this.
1) legendary energy

2) you don't want to be passive aggressively chased through winter conditions by a Minnesotan, I hope they have nightmares 😂

Representative Adelita Grijalva went to lunch and came across an ICE raid. Even after telling them she was a member of congress, the thugs pepper sprayed her.

Her question: if they treat a member of congress this way, how are they treating the defenseless people they kidnap?

I was raised surrounded by Mormons, all false masks of politeness, supposedly never drunk, never harassing girls/women but I had this too.

I had to deal with this too. Because it was okay to threaten or physically attack a woman re: disobedience, including rejection. It was common. It was "normal".
PSA for the fellas:

Every woman you know has been in a room with a Pete Hegseth (sometimes drunk, sometimes not) who raged at her for not being instantly charmed by, or acquiescent to, him—like Hegseth rages at reporters—and had to do a quick calculation about getting out safely. And a lot didn't.

We shouldn’t be just hoping for “not getting traumatized today”

We deserve REPAIR .

We deserve consideration
