I started around 5.1ish, and managed to be completely caught up by 5.4-5.5.

Aristide started as a cosplay character of my brother’s OC who doesn’t play anymore. And then I lore’d and strayed so far from the OC and ended up fantasia’ing and name changing and he has become his own OC and I love him so dearly.

Kaine’s father was a fisherman by trade and also in Maelstrom, so their income was modest at best. He is still moderate/frugal with things to this day.
Aristide’s father was an Adder healer, and his mother is a botanist, so that would put them at maybe middle class-ish, they were okay enough.

Kaine’s currently back at home in Thavnair w/his wife and kids (between MSQ) and is half-retired. Arlyra is actually doing more in Tulliyolal/S9 tbh.

Haven’t been up to much and wanting to post more character art I’ve actually done. I have several more WoL postcards that are unfinished I need to get to painting, but so far have finished ones for my boy Aristide, and two XIV buds’ WoLs Emoni and Rose that I did a while back.

Kaine took several weeks overall to recover from his injuries and exhaustion.
Aristide suffered a deal more, having given so much aether to cure Kaine after all the battles and everyone else, that he nuked his echo and ability to channel aether ever again, to current MSQ, he can cast minimally now.
