There is clearly as much radicalisation and dangers for older people online when it comes to the abandonment of moderation and self-censorship by some platforms and AI companies as there is for the young.

A lot better. I built PC's and repaired them for the satisfaction of doing it. Even something as simple as a plug, unscrewing it, putting the cable through a hole you drilled in the cabinet and reassembling it to make it all look tidy, something small to be proud of. Now its just sealed plastic
I wonder how much better male mental health would be if things were built to be repairable
