And the simple fact that there was enough room to have both their degree and the partner’s thing (was it a poster?) side by side but the partner wouldn’t budge or compromise.

Utterly morally bankrupt.

The way she goes 'war crimes have been committed, but Zalenskyy isn't a friend of the working class' is properly awful.

There is no 'but' here. Don't just wash away war crimes to persue some corrupted form of class politics
We take no joy criticising a young left-wing UK political figure who has often spoken up for workers' rights and progressive causes. But these barely coherent comments from Zarah Sultana on Ukraine sum up much of what is wrong with her wing of the left www.instagram.com/reel/DQT62ys...

Is the story here that @torstenbell.bsky.social is basically a stoic with incredibly cheap tastes in office furniture?
That…is a lot of money. After looking at the cost of office chairs begrudgingly spent £60 on a second hand gaming chair. £900 on three chairs is cheap.
A female member of staff in my training group was told by a guy he’d dig up her nan and f**k the corpse. Another colleague had someone Google Maps the building and tell them he’s be waiting on a nearby street looking for anyone with his name. You get five minutes to recover, brave face, next call.
I don’t think people appreciate how much shit front line public sector staff have to deal with (I’ve done that and private sector). The “I pay your wages” attitude leads to some horrendous abuse. Twenty or thirty thank yous can be ruined by a single interaction.
It’s easy to miss that Unpacking, a cozy indie game is about a woman forced to give up part of her identity by a shitty partner, deal with disability and chronic illness all while constantly living out of cardboard boxes.
@gailsimone.bsky.social must be annoyed at her participation’s removal from Wikipedia’s list of unusual deaths
From working in the public sector, the main reason the public are called customers is because staff in various agencies used your sidebar as a reason to take a “facts don’t care about your feelings” approach to dealing with the public.

did paris hilton ever actually do anything to deserve how much shit people talked about her except pretend to be dumb on a reality show?

Putting the racism to one side for a moment, it is of course low-key funny that a Reform MP thinks *other people* have excessive tv time.
We are here because the open use of dehumanising language, calling that group predators and paedophiles, etc was considered protected speech and censoring it was a “slippery slope”. One side now has full access to free speech, the other has to check for safe escape routes when speaking.
It’s okay for people to use calls of violence in the trans “debate” and that action to stop that stifles free speech. In this instance a clear message has been sent to one side, if you are trans or support trans rights, people can openly call for harm to be done to you. That has a chilling effect.
There is no slippery slope, that’s just a fallacy that gets thrown into the conversation.
The “slippery slope” argument is itself a weapon to censor others, especially by those that have platforms. Bigotry forces people off platforms, as an example the British government and police have said
Trying to remember which comedian put this in their routine, that adverts aren’t representative of black and Asian communities either because it’s pretty much always mixed race families, with few, if any wholly black or wholly Asian families.
Guessing it’s over 1,000 Americans retweeting. They also think a Nazi symbol and Jolly Roger look alike.

Normal service on #TrevorPhillips & #BBCLauraK. Days after Plaid Cymru sensationally won the #Caerphilly by-election there is no room for Plaid on either programme. But Trevor Phillips has room for the losing party: Farage's Reform & Zia Yusuf. Ever get the feeling you are being cheated?

Again when you really boil it down, “anti wokeness” can very very often be summarized as “I’m mad a black person got a job” bsky.app/profile/hesg...
Sorry, Sarah, but you are now, officially and on the record, a moral degenerate. And you know it.

Long discussion on @lbc.co.uk news earlier centred on the Caerffili by-election result. It was all about Labour and Reform. Plaid Cymru secured close to 50% of the vote with a high turnout of 50%. Plaids vote of 47.4% was more than Reform and Labour's votes combined. Virtually every conversation
Because you've whittled down the survivor group with at least one of the survivors being a traitor, so it makes it easier to point a finger at a traitor.
I'm genuinely surprised nobody has cottoned on to Ross's proximity to death and his survivability.
Llŷr sounding like Norman is just the perfect touch.

Yes accept that term is often used to dismiss the legitimacy of the winner. Like it’s somehow not a ‘real’ win. Plenty of people who voted plaid will have voted FOR plaid. Just like all those people who voted in LibDems on Thursday in a stunning set of local by election results for them
His channel should be much bigger than it is. His video series about the Battle of Britain was fantastic.
