In a digital world chuffed my teenage daughter asked to have my old record player. Hinted that down the record, when I get a Rega R6 she can have my Rega 3 50th anniversary.

I've probably moaned about it before, but AI really makes drawing hell. I've been doing this one picture for hours, all the time doubting voices in my head go on about what a chump I am for having such a tedious and long winded process that's in no way cost effective. And I should just "type it in".

I've been trying to listen to Rachel Reeves' speech, but I keep nodding off. This isn't even a joke. It's physically impossible to stay awake. I might add it to my Insomnia playlist on Spotify.

If you’re worried about hurting artists by boycotting Spotify—don’t. They pay musicians 0.0003 per stream (on the high end) and support fascists. Go see bands play live, buy their merch, collect physical media. That’s how you support artists and tell knee-bending oligarch fascists to eat shit.

Saw U.S. Girls at Band on the Wall and again people talking when the band are on. I’d like to suggest every venue has a referee there - yellow card warning and then a red and you are out. Why pay to just then chat and also rude to the artist.

A really superb bow out by @qedcon.org - so much to take away from it - for audience who asked about the #knitting, #crochet and #trans ally poems - they’ll be in the next poetry book, but here they are

At last, somebody writing about the obvious weaponization of radio phone-ins by the Right. So glad Stewart Lee's writing again but even happier that he's standing up against this shite.

Stewart Lee: How do all these rightwing astroturfers get on the airwaves? Doesn’t anyone Google them first?
From Aston Villa to George Abaraonye, every time the culture wars flare up, there’s a ‘concerned citizen’ from a previously unheard-of pressure group popping up. A little scepticism is needed
