After 20 or so people spoke (I wasn't counting so that is just my vibe) a county commissioner explained that although they technically have oversight over the contract they refuse to do anything because the Butler County Sheriff is elected so he gets to make his own decisions.
My statement for today's Butler County Commissioner meeting calling on them to end their contract with ICE.
