The agriculture industry is probably the single greatest recipient of welfare in America, yet is talked about very differently than people on WIC or the post office
1) Impose massive tariffs on China
2) China retaliates by ending its soybean imports
3) Cut deal w/ China so they'll buy our soybeans
4) China buys only 20%, so far, of what it agreed to purchase
5) Offer $12 billion to US farmers so they don't go bankrupt

One good reason to think that the writers of the 14th amendment intended it to convey birthright citizenship is that it says “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
This isn’t a difference of opinion. Ilan Wurman and Randy Barnett are straightforward liars.

one of the problems I have with Democrats (and other critics) labeling these "war crimes" is that it accepts the underlying claim that the people being murdered are enemy combatants. They're not! it's just murder!
Fox News' Joey Jones justifies the US military killing survivors after an initial boat strike: "An enemy combatant does not have to have a gun to be a danger or a threat... if you leave anybody alive, they can signal and let others know what’s happening and they can also retaliate through radio."

Hegseth is a war criminal and a murderer and should, at minimum, be tried as such
In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.
