CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 944, Runner. Special significance days: Ronald Reagan Day.
Existing law designates specited days as having special signiticance, and specities how the days of special significance should be observed in public elementary and secondary schools and educational institutions.
This bill would repeal and recast these provisions.
This bill would express findings and declarations of the Legislature relating to Ronald Reagan. This bill would designate February 6 of each year as Ronald Reagan Day, and would encourage public schools and educational institutions to engage in exercises remembering the life of Ronald Reagan, as specified.
Existing law requires the Governor to proclaim various days in honor of
a person, status, or an event.
This bill would require the Governor to annually proclaim February 6 as
Ronald Reagan Day.
The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1. The Legislature finds and declares all of the following:
(a) Ronald Wilson Reagan was a man of humble background who worked throughout his life serving freedom and advancing the public good, having been employed as an entertainer, union leader, corporate spokesman, Governor of California, and President of the United States.

8 hour stream, I did some fun stuff with GPU compute. Nothing like complexity final version will be, and probably half the time was spent wrestling with nothing displaying because of some dumb graphics API mistake, but multiple steps that felt like nice accomplishments. VOD up, YouTube coming.

Why do all the OBS Twitch chat overlays require giving the vendor access to my account? The browser based ones want to authenticate & be able to access stream key, change stream title, etc; the one plugin I looked at also wanted stream key. It's CHAT. It's the one thing you can get w/o logging in.

My desktop is plenty wide for 2 monitors, but it's tough to fit 3. But I really want a real-time image of the stream (outgoing, not coming back from Twitch) in my field of view, which means a dedicated 3rd monitor for the streaming machine on the desk.

Another fun wrinkle from that period (that might still exist): I was good at math and loved it and then my geometry teacher told me that I'd probably struggle because female brains were bad at spatial thinking. I kept loving math & being good at it but assumed that would end so I ended it first.
Those who weren’t resigned to the Math Idiot Garbage Bin as kids may not grasp how much “if you’re bad at math, you’ll die in a ditch and all will be better off for it” sentiment was floating around in the 90s and 2000s, but it sure felt real to me.
