Chris Person takes a look at Horses, "the indie game that is too scandalous for either Valve or Epic, is only beyond the pale if you're not familiar with any other art form" (quoted from the article blurb).

Funny, but the only acceptable use of "tweet", "retweet", and "quote tweet" are as generic terms on social media. This is just some jerk (presumably) who wants to make a buck by making a new Twitter, from which we will all stay very far away.
Operation Bluebird, Inc. files petition to cancel TWITTER and TWEET registrations on the grounds of abandonment and fraud. Cancellation No. 92090266.

My main takeaway from the "Is X a Christmas Movie" discourse is that a lot of people have the nominative acumen of an astrophysicist.

"Those Video Game Mean Wrong. Weird."

(I swapped the first two, otherwise in frequency order.)

This is a BEAUTIFUL kicker. Basically "You argued you have to sacrifice a small population to protect the rights of a bigger population. You, the only transphobe on staff compared to ten trans women, are the small population. Wish granted, case dismissed"

For anybody who thinks being a U.S. citizen will save them, or that being white will save them, this is a blonde white woman who is a US citizen and the thugs took her too.
Anyway, for the 80 billionth time, stand up for everybody’s rights
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

FYI as you head into the holiday season:

Shopify is a Canadian company, but its CEO Tobi Lütke is Maple MAGA in both words & monetary support (under the guise of “free speech” & “open commerce”).
Really beginning to hate Shopify, they are doing a lot to make shopping shittier lately

so it is very apparent that

1) You are not going to be able to know for sure who or where an order came from, much less if it is legal

2) The President and SecDef will disavow any order that retroactively proves to be unpopular or risky

thread delving into the fun truths of Stoppard's Tempest firework story!
But Stoppard wasn't at the lakeside.

He was 11 in June 1949. He admits it was "a production which I never saw myself" ('Tom Stoppard in Conversation', 1994, p.200) although it clearly inspired him when he heard about it from theatre colleagues.

Hey, Wikipedia! Citation needed! No original research!

(I joke because, as far as I can tell from a fair bit of investigation, I was the first person to notice this fact, and it was added to Wikipedia not long after I tweeted it.)
