ABSOLUTELY THIS.
There are things AI (LLM) tools are fantastic for. We have an internal one for filling out RFP questions which is a fucking godsend. Even that still needs to be trust but verify.
The problem is that the vast majority of AI use is to replace thinking and creativity, not rote lookup tasks.

I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

I cannot stand watching these fundie families complain on the house finding shows about not having enough space for the boots, bags, etc. You wouldn’t need a homeschooling space if you relied on and supported your public schools. You chose to have 6 kids. It didn’t magically happen. 🤷🏽♀️
