This is the correct take. Stewing in white supremacist propaganda is bad for your thinking. And if think you are so savvy that it won’t impact you, you are the exact kind of mark they are slowly converting (I’m looking at you, centrist pundits).
It’s really funny how a generation will roll its eyes at parents who watch Fox News but doesn’t see why being immersed in Twitter is having the same effect. Lots of serious people show up on Fox News too but that shouldn’t be your primary source on the news.

The countries that are still consuming it? Well, Hungary is one of them and it’s a pretty far right and authoritarian place with Russian sympathy. And the EU can’t ban them buying it outright without universal assent from all their members including Hungary.

My issue is this- Russia needs a breathing space. It will pause then strike again. Russia must never be trusted- they are and remain belligerent aggressors and will be back.

not only is trump transforming the united states into a rogue player on accountability (unsurprisingly), but europeans are not fighting back. this is awful and it's not gonna stop. see brazil, too. vindictive & selective - all in the service of impunity.
An absolute scandal compounded in this case by failure of French government and EU institutions to forcefully react and sanction in turn those who have sanctioned ICC judges and prosecutors. Makes a total mockery of FR/EU's repeated commitment to the rule of law/ICC

Id like to see the Ukraine reject the peace plan and UK and European allies send forces to the region. The US has collapsed morally. Europe must now stand together against tyranny.
