For graphic novels, especially adult genre fiction, it's incredibly helpful to review it online, talk about it, recommend it to a friend—adult fiction in the graphic novel space is difficult to place, and nothing convinces readers that they'll like a book more than the personal testimonial.
If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!

Fundamentally One Battle After Another is a film about how people move through different spaces, sometimes alone, sometimes in groups. Nothing the characters say really means anything, and their affiliations are arbitrary and unserious.

Watched One Battle After Another. It's cute. That's it. It's like a dumb blonde joke but about current affairs. Sean Penn's walk is great though. I really wish I hadn't spent 20 bucks to see it. Why do people like shit like this so much? Does it make them feel clever?
