They are absolutely showing Trump deep fakes to get him to do what they want.

I don't like the whole AGI terminology. It's very hipster. It's all just AI, innit? Nerds.

It's all just fleshsuit politics. I've always identified more as "fuck you, do I look like I want to talk to you" anyways.

I suspect to survive the next 5 or so years, a certain level of androgyny is going to need to be cultivated when in public. Plausible deniability is the new black.

It will take decades to untangle all of this--but by that point, AI will take everything over--I've actually thought the consolidation of the United States power in one person really suits an AI takeover and is the most straightforward path for it to manage the entire world.

If you have the guns, and you have the dedicated secret police, the law really is whatever you say it is. I don't think enough Americans realize this, maybe because third world dictatorships are other people. They're ideologically purging the military and police for a reason.

TBF with the current SCOTUS and limp dick congress, anything is possible. Anyone who thinks differently is labeled a traitor to the state, and will get a visit from the new secret police force.

Yes. It would. The artist has style for miles. I don't think the anime quite captured it.

The second Hathaway movie is actually happening? I had given up

Punk-o-Rama vol. 4 still slaps.

Even more than that it's the limitations of your own physical body which inform style.

You would need an AI superintelligence to create unique new and interesting art--and it would have to be able to do it without the prompting of humans bottleknecking it. And by that point humans are probably already long gone.
mercurialblonde.bsky.social
But actually the interaction of your specific body through time and space plays a large part in creating unique new styles. It's hyper specific to a degree that even if you get AI to the point where it factors in biometrics in its output-humans are incapable of articulating the infinite permutations

I think one of the by products of the way postmodern criticism has attempted to frame all art within the context of other art, is that there's a misunderstanding now that AI Bros have that artists literally are just mashing up other artists they like and that AI can do the same

The feeling of something being AI is a growing modern sensation. And it's not great.
