The next phase of ICE’s big ramp-up: a nationwide network of vast detention facilities. But guess what? Even parts of Red America are saying no.

The war on work from home is in large part a war on women having a career btw
Roughly half a million women in the US exited the workforce in 2025, and 42% of those who voluntarily left cited their caregiving responsibilities as the main reason, according to a recent survey from Catalyst.

42% of women are leaving the workforce over lack of caregiver support
In a tight employment market, employers that offer less flexibility risk losing working caregivers, according to a Catalyst report.

This from Kate is exactly right.

Remember: Bannon is literally the guy who said the strategy is to flood the zone with shit and that the media is the real enemy.
ICE at the polls! Bannon is basically yelling “fire” in a crowded theater here. His objective is to cause chaos (and suppress votes on the left). And it’s already working.

This threat works on multiple levels and doesn’t have to be “real” to serve its purpose.

Let me explain & offer some advice.
Steve Bannon says the federal government is planning to send ICE officers to patrol polling stations during the midterms.

"We're going to have ICE surround the polls come November."

his net worth is $253.2 billion.
so he could take one million dollars, and just light it on fire
and then do it again tomorrow
and again the day after that
and then do it every day for 693 years and 8 months

Miller clumsily deployed an army of masked goons to commit crimes across the nation and, in the process, destroyed Trump's best-polling issue and sent his approval plummeting to an all-time low.

But sure, this was a "rare misstep" and not part of a larger pattern of incompetence
Stephen Miller called Alex Pretti a “domestic terrorist” after the VA nurse was killed by federal agents, a rare misstep for Miller, the White House aide stoking President Trump’s boundary-pushing impulses.

For New Hampshire people: Free State Project members are a great example of this distinction; they wrap their decisions to move up in the language of migration, but are actually doing settlerism:
(not beefing, just expanding) I think there's a very sturdy case for treating particular contexts differently. There is a fundamental difference between immigrants and settlers, in how they interact with existing communities, and how they treat obligations/relationships. Migration isn't settlerism.
Also where do you draw the line for stolen land?

Is Israel land stolen from the Palestinians? The Franks? Arabs? Syriac Christians? The Israelites?

Was Irish land stolen by the English? The Normans? Or by the Eoganachta and the other Q-Celtic peoples?

It really depends on when you pick
