Early 90s: I loved shoplifting from Virgin Magastore / HMV. Top grift though was picking an expensive thing of the shelf, walking up to Customer Services, and saying "I received this as a gift so don't have the receipt, but can I please return it?" Still can't believe it worked.

The Stone Roses 'I Wanna Be Adored' on Snub TV 1989. This was shown the week we had them on at the Buzz Club, that a half page live review in the NME & 'Made of Stone' Single of the Week in the Melody Maker ensured we had a great crowd to see them!

Growing up in the West Midlands in the 70s and 80s was very concerned about nuclear war as a result of the competition between Nato and The Walsall Pact. Didn't know what Russia had to do with town off Junc 10 of M6 but still don't trust them to this day.
