Just so people outside of MN know - a lot of the US citizens getting “arrested” by ICE never get processed at Whipple. They are roughed up during the arrest and then often dropped off miles from where they were picked up. It means we don’t know the true scale of what ICE is doing based on ICE stats

I will say that this experience has really changed the way I think about a lot of historical events and the motivations and thinking of historical actors, especially those that history often reduces to passive victims, which is a little bit annoying tbh.

So, this should finally put to rest any delusions that there are decent people left in the US military who will stand up to illegal orders and protect democracy. The US military is now more likely to kill US citizens rather than help them. They are not our friends.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

I’ve seen enough…the Vikings had a massive miss on JJ McCarthy. He may eventually be a decent NFL QB, but he won’t be this year. They had a roster that could’ve contended with a decent QB.

I’ve seen enough…the Vikings had a massive miss on JJ McCarthy. He may eventually be a decent NFL QB, but he won’t be this year. They had a roster that could’ve contended with a decent QB.
