Was standing barefoot with my toes wrap around the edge of a 3" step, slipped off and hit the concrete pad straight down, broke two toes on one foot.
Had one foot on the edge of (a very low) car door sill, slipped off and tore the ligament in my ankle.

I happened across my MIL’s notes from a doctor’s visit ~6mo before her passing (decades ago). She had terminal frontoparietal CNS lymphoma & the doctor wrote:
"...is a very pleasant woman in no distress, who in fact looks entirely well."
As a chronically ill woman, I hate every word of this.

I'm 45 & didn't know I was autistic until nearly 40. After decades of masking, & now recognizing that's what I've been doing all along, I'm starting to realize that I don't know who I am. And you what? That fucking sucks. Wish I had grown up knowing I was ND. It would have made SUCH a difference.
