For what it's worth I think all of the following can all be true at the same time:
-Detection of microplastics via analytical techniques can be really challenging due to detection limits
-Some scientific papers out there are poor and lack rigour
-Microplastics are bad for human health
‘A bombshell’: doubt cast on discoveries of #microplastics throughout human body, from brain to blood, arteries to testes

Exclusive: Some scientists say many detections are most likely error, with one high-profile study called a ‘joke’

sources close to Downing Street say Keir Starmer has discovered the Ctrl+Z keyboard function and now won't come off the computer

per one report, "he's been typing up entire manifestos before yelling PSYCH and undoing the whole thing. the main thing is he's having fun I guess"

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Disabled people deserve housing.

Disabled people deserve food.

Disabled people deserve support.

Our ability to work and produce should not determine our value.
