I'm not even THAT hype of a Xmas person, but I'm spending this 1st Nvmbr w/end putting up decor. For me this is mostly just bc of ADHD: Decorating for Xmas always seems to take longer than other holidays. The later I leave it, the more it becomes just 1 more thing to juggle in an already-busy season

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

A thing about having bad executive function is like. The whole thought experiment where people ask themselves oh, what if I did X instead of Y, or made a difference choice at this particular point. Just doesn't apply to me. Because all my available paths & choices were pretty much dictated by ADHD

I went to the protest this morning at ICE facility in Broadview. Some photos if you wanna follow along. My guess is that at its height there were 300-400 people there, all protesting the inhumane treatment & illegal kidnapping of our neighbors. #broadview #iceprotest #abolishice #broadviewprotest

One of the biggest issues for me, with my particular brand of ADHD? Is that holiday seasons always manage to sneak up on me. Half the time when I want to decorate to get into the vibes, the season is partway over before I actually get around to setting things up
