Still looking for a stuffing recipe to serve on Thanksgiving? Try cramming your bird full of Twinkies! Don't forget to baste the turkey with the cream filling to round out the flavor profile.

A few days after Cristiano Ronaldo was at the White House, FIFA says it has suspended the remaining two games of Cristiano Ronaldo's three-game ban for violent conduct, meaning he can play in Portugal's first two World Cup games.

Coincidence or not, it's certainly timing.

Actually, I think you'll find "lattes" just means "milks". The hot beverage I think you're referring to is called a caffe latte. Oh, and two of those panini's, please.

(I'm clearly a blinkered and unobservant shopper, as I had no idea there were packaged caffe lattes.)

Will never not retweet this monster.
RAINBOW (1972) was originally conceived as Britain's answer to Sesame Street, and Geoffrey, George, Zippy and Bungle would eventually become household names. But the first series featured a maniacal, wide-eyed, terrifying prototype of cuddly old Bungle Bear...

Was intending to buy a new fridge from them fairly soon, but they can sod off now.
Oh, and if you're buying electricals / white goods etc, give AO a swerve, eh?

Honestly, give Farage a break. He only said 12 of the 14 words, and "yay, Hitler" rather than "Heil Hitler".

'... the brain stays in the adolescent phase until our early thirties when we "peak".'

And I assume this is an approximate age, right? The peak could be delayed in some people, right? Y'know, by 20 years or so? Hmm?

Finally some time* to sit and listen to this several times properly. To think that this music could so easily have been forgotten. Amazing work by Leah Broad and everyone involved!

Look, I know that fast fashion is terrible and I try to buy nothing new and repair what I have whenever possible. But my normal resistance to Temu ads is utterly undone by this objectively incredible item

Fascinating thread.
It was 62 years ago #OnThisDay in 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Here's a piece I wrote for the History of the BBC website a couple of years ago about how the BBC covered the news.

I'm quite pleased with this one...

The word SNEEZE used to be FNESE, as in "He speketh in his nose And fneseth faste" (Canterbury Tales)

FNESE faded out in the 15thC, superseded by NESE/NEEZE. Then an s- was added, maybe to strengthen it or to align with other nose-related sn- words

Anyway I think we should bring FNESE back
