Starting with Stanford's firing of Troy Taylor in March, Michigan is the 30th FBS program looking to replace a head coach in this cycle.

That doesn't even include Ohio, which put Brian Smith on paid leave without explanation.

1979 was the year of APOCALYPSE NOW and ALL THAT JAZZ. Worst year of cinema ever? No. Not even close.
Women's Wear Daily, December 10, 1979. Calling a movie "the worst film ever made" because it did not live up to your expectations is by no means a recent phenomenon.

Have you ever seen a piebald deer? This rare genetic mutation causes an estimated 1 in 1,000 white-tailed deer to have unique white & brown coats. While beautiful, piebald deer can suffer from other genetic issues, like shortened legs or arched spines.

🎂 E. H. Shepard was born on this day in 1879. A titan among British illustrators, he’s best remembered for his Winnie-the-Pooh illustrations. 🧸

The surprising ways his artwork & the text work together to shape the Pooh stories are a story all their own ⤵️

Yes, you are looking up—WAY UP! Hubble captured bright, actively forming stars illuminating gas clouds that are 160,000 light-years away in another galaxy. The stars sculpt clumps of dust with powerful UV light—and will keep at it for millions of years. Credit: NASA, ESA.

Hoopla is a fantastic FREE resource! There are tons of British shows (my favorite!) as well as lots of other things you have to pay for on other streamers.
Reminder that not only do library systems have physical media (& many also lend tools, electronics etc), your library card may give you access to streamers Kanopy and Hoopla. We just watched Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of The Rainmaker via a hoopla the other night. Pretty good!

It's just another wonder of public libraries. Use them. Love them.
