aaahhhh I thought I had missed something because I've been on an AMD chipset for years now.

FWIW - I'm thinking of upgrading from at 3060ti to an AMD 9700XT if I can find a good deal over the Black Friday sales

If you don't want to spend that kind of money then the answer is stick with your 3080, you won't get much more power for your pound currently.

Also what changes would you possibly need to go with an AMD graphics card?
