Some folks want blood but i'm a hard NO on sacking the coach.
A caretaker doesnt change the pressure on the players, give them new found confidence or accelerate the process for those still grieving.
All you do is sack a league winning coach who had to manage one of his players dying #lfc

The result is awful but in a disastrous run like this, I actually, for lack of a better word, “rate” the performance for the most parts.

Virgil’s brain fart, Ibou wandering focus aside, we showed more commitment, more desire, more threat than we did previously.

It’s a crazy post I know.

I remember watching City on this matchday a year ago vs feyenoord. They didn't lose, played well in patches but they were absolutely shredded in transition and in a run of losing 9 games in 12 in all comps. We look in a similar funk now. Too many error, players out of form and with no legs #lfc

Everyone needs to calm down a bit. It’s an embarrassing and stupid leak. But we knew all the detail anyway- the Treasury had leaked it. Markets have reacted well. This bit of process won’t be anything close to the most politically difficult thing about today.
Keir Starmer: "The Chancellor will set out the Budget in just a few minutes time."

In fact, the OBR did it just a few minutes ago.

I’d prioritise rebalancing the squad first. Guehi and Semenyo would help. Then I’d weigh up whether Slot is still terrible at his job. If yes, liquidate.
@distancecovered.bsky.social agree that recruitment has been the biggest cause of issues this season. What would be the first thing you do in January if anything?

NEW There's no overstating how significant the Nathan Gill case is. On Friday, the close associate of Nigel Farage was jailed for over 10 years for taking bribes ultimately from a friend of Putin. It's a complex, detail-heavy story that raises questions about Farage’s claim Gill was ‘one bad apple’🧵

Remember: if a legal opinion is sound then it matters not how “great” or “distinguished“ the lawyer is.

And if it is not sound, it is not saved by the lawyer being “great” or “distinguished“.
Apparently, Stephen Miller cosplayed a “many great legal scholars” last night.

Whatever your view on things - losing to Forest at home and being shut out is unacceptable.

It’ll always be unacceptable- regardless of it being the sixth loss in seven.

But what stands Liverpool apart from the others is we don’t act or kneejerk like Chelsea.

That said, this needs fixing & fast.
