I only knew about the pirate concept part of the lore since I'm not the type to delve much into lore even for bands I fully stan. With the exception of really niche concept groups where the lore/concept is more prominent than the music.

It will never not bother me to hear “unalived” or “graped”. We’ve more than proved that banning language only creates different words for the same topics that we absolutely need to be talking about.
