I saw one of those absurdly priced versions of the new WWE game and it genuinely looked like a poster for a gritty early 2000s horror movie, so I just had to...

I like that Robotnik looks like a turtle stuck on his back and is wiggling his arms to get back up.

20 years after the release of Dirge of Cerberus on January 2006, Takayoshi Nakazato felt a cold shiver, as if a dozen keyboards clattered and mouse clicks sounding the gunfire of the Cerberus.

With a slight smile on his lips, he says "What the hell took you so long? Don't you people read?"

Entering the Mines of Moria must’ve been so confusing to everyone except Gandalf and Legolas.

Gandalf, deep in thought, randomly starts giggling, says “Mellon” and the door randomly swings open. Leaving a group of confused hobbits wondering what an exotic fruit has to do with anything.

You know, I should dedicate a day or two to finally studying the things I want and learning from online courses I've bought a while ago-hahahahaha, goddamn insomnia meant I slept until past 12 and the day was gone by then. Damnit.

The piano rendition of Terra’s theme is amazing for the CGI intro.
Its #RandomGameSaturday so today its the first I think (or was it Crash Bandicoot 2) game I ever owned, its Final Fantasy VI for the PS1 plus bonus Final Fantasy X demo disc. I got it for my 7th birthday from my now 103 years old Grandad and it remains my sisters favorite ever FF game. 1)

This was one of my first Steam games. I didn't care much for poker, but I liked that you could get items for TF2. Strong Bad was an amazing inclusion at the time.

The sequel is also pretty good, as it features GLaDOS hosting, Claptrap, Ash Williams, Brock Samson and Sam (instead of Max).

It's somewhat worrying that I have video recommendations on YouTube for Al generated music, and all of the profiles have said "Comments against Al will be deleted"...

...Good, create that little unsustainable vacuum where people click "don't recommend channel" and get on with their lives.

#RandomGameSaturday Half-Life on the PS2! This is one of the few games on PS2 which had USB mouse and controller support back in 2001. Can’t really say if the port is all the hype, considering I’ve never completed the original (It would be funnier to do when HL3 comes out, so probably never?)

See also; selective mutism.

There have been times where, under stress or pressure, I've regressed to the point of being non-verbal. It's not that I don't want to talk, it's that I can't.

You're not a real gamer unless you spend $20 on microtransactions.

Easy modes are just a way to sucker non-gaming markets in to games and you're not a real gamer if you play them.

I never understood that argument. I think it stems from people thinking that the best and most expensive supplies on the market... produce the best art with minimal skill?

Shakespeare wrote with a frigging sharpened feather dipped in ink.
"I need AI to make art, human art is only for the rich and privileged-"

Probably *the* most annoying thing about the NaNoWriMo chuds was how the approval of Al meant the admonishment of anyone against it as "ableist".

As a disabled writer, firstly, I do not need such a group to speak on my behalf and tell me what I do or don't need as part of their grift.
Every instance of "AI democratizes the arts, you're classist and ableist and a gatekeeper for trying to stop it" is a slap in the face to the literally centuries of poor, disabled people making art on the margins and a crass lie in service of a machine that strips down and regurgitates dreams

We still have 74ish years before 20XX expires.

Lets hope for a future where we look out the window to see CGI mecha.

If they ever revise the highway code, my local area should have an added page concerning traffic lights.

Red means stop, not speed through.
Yellow doesn't mean "Welcome to the Purge" where hitting someone on the road is legal.
Green? Well, they know what that one is.

It's been heartbreaking seeing so many people I know use ChatGPT to generate "caricatures" when I am married to a living, breathing caricaturist. This technology was built off theft. It's soulless & bland. Here's caricatures by @tealcartoons.bsky.social to remind people what human art looks like.
