I hate that I immediately knew what this was based on the HUD alone. 🥲
I'm somewhat of a stealth action fan myself

Thank you, anonymous subtitler for making sure I knew what the dog said.

Less wholesome, but I'm reminded of the Assassin's Creed 2 ad that opens up into tearing a (paper) nobleman's head away. (CW: It's not too graphic, but it's a head leaving a body, hence the label)

Artwork like this captures the characters so well, even the ones we don't know much about. Brad, for example. Looking away from the camera, wearing yellow as both the caution of being visible around aircraft and the colour of cowardice.

But it literally came back to bite him in Resident Evil 3.

I love that Raymond has inflated his cheeks, and no doubt, slowly exhales until the clip on his gun is empty.
Before being hired by Taito to Chase HQ & go for a kill time in Crime City, Tony Gibson & Raymond Broady starred in their own TV show 'Manhattan Vice', as advertised in Full Throttle

Everyone: "Do not underestimate the power of dreams!"

Me, having just dreamt about making a home made movie about vampires, ending with live-action Stu Pickles realising his dream of figure skating by filling in for a deceased team member on an Italian team: "If you say so."

Favourite spot in the game. Love the music, the story surrounding the lady in the lighthouse, and a side quest that makes a mockery of Nier for “doing anything”. I also love that it’s one of the few untouched areas of the apocalypse, with only an ominous wreck on the horizon.

Reading the Frieren manga, with the internal conflict of going past the anime whilst looking forward to seeing the new season with enough episodes for a binge-watch.

I am tickled that Kraft says that Übel has "the eyes of a killer" when she's just this:

Count Olrox: "How's your son by the way? Has he developed any abilities?"
Dracula: "He's fine, but I'm worried about his bat transformation."
Count Olrox: "How so?"
Dracula: "He can fly, he can turn into a bat, but sometimes he gets a little from column a, and a little from column b."

Mixx sprung for a dub, and its definitely part of the charm of playing this now.

Transphobes talk about wanting to "protect women and girls", but when was the last time you saw one jump in the way of a boss's attack and risk critical damage and possibly one or more status changes? Never, that's when. So shut up.

This sort of design ethic really fascinated me, especially with the Batman games where more influence was taken from the comics instead of the movies. Batman: Caped Crusader, for example, made comic panels the playable area and overlapped them when entering a new "room".

The liminal spaces in Metal Gear Solid 2 were incredible. I would happily just play a mod with no enemies or bosses, just taking in early 2000s influenced design.

When the liquor is so strong, it drunks itself.
I spent way too much time look at liquor bottles in Lost Judgment yesterday and the whisky's having been manufactured understands and it doesn't understand for the first time when where it was.
