Yes. It is impossible currently to buy my book Be Funny Or Die and have me benefit from that sale. Unless you do so on audiobook, cos I reserved those rights. You can listen, but any actual books for sale aren’t paying me.
Think it's important to note that Unbound is still dicking over their (former) authors. Don't pay them, buy from places that are actually paying the authors!
Quick note to anyone thinking of buying my books: please purchase the new Swift Press versions, NOT the relatively small number of Unbound versions still knocking about, & being sold by OOINYA. Unbound stopped paying me for my work early in 2024 and I will never see a penny for these books.

They've been trialling these for a long while - saw one around Elephant & Castle getting on for a decade ago now.

On average I should think they last about 40 minutes before getting turned over, robbed and set on fire / pushed in a canal.

Good luck forcing me off the pavement you fucking bin.
Just as you thought food delivery companies couldn't inflict any more misery on society:

Instead of using lowly-paid gig economy contractors to deliver groceries, they're replacing humans with robots, who, in turn, force humans off the pavement into road traffic.

WORKPLACE PARKING. Has anyone heard of an employer paying people a daily sum, which if you drove went towards your parking space and if you didn't drive went into your pocket? I'm sure I've heard of somewhere doing this, but cannot remember where I heard it

The diplomatic "achievement" of the ceasefire was to recalibrate the tempo of the genocide sufficiently to get it off the front pages and the news bulletins, thus alleviating the political pressure on Israel's western accomplices.

I hate the fact that Amazon etc don’t pay fair taxes, despite using our roads and infrastructur, that ordinary PAYE taxpayers have funded. And of course these firms all want kids who are “ready for work” but won’t contribute to the taxes that pay for the schools

Today's 70% fall in net migration to 205,000 was not one of the six stories in BBC ten o'clock news.

Ta massive assymetry in whether rises in immigration and falls in immigration are considered newsworthy by broadcasters

Down by 140k isn't thought to be.

Up by 140k undoubtedly would be.

I think a lot of what is driving the corporate acceptance of slop is that there's a lot of product managers and producers who don't have a creative bone in their bodies, but this process allows them to role play like they are creatives.

This is unhinged, unadulterated white nationalism that is so off-the-charts fascist not even David Duke would have said that in public.
