Obnoxious millennial Houstonian. Be prepared to hear me talk podcasts, sports, politics, WoW (Unami-Frostwolf), and FFXIV (Petra Sagolaris-Jenova). A lot. Profile art by @krud.bsky.social.

Fine, I'll do it myself.
The Astros gave me an October off. Now I can focus on basketball.
A doodle that @krud.bsky.social did of my #FFXIV character, Petra, dressed up like Sally Whitemane from #Warcraft.
I would really love it if they just took these, changed the font on them to be not Phi Slama Jama related (maybe the Clutch City font), swapped the blue with yellow, and made them the default kit. They'd instantly be the best uniforms in the team's history.
What about Seattle getting their first World Series title over the former Seattle team?
I've put off going back to the hellsite to see if I can't find anyone else I haven't followed from there on this site for almost a year. I should do a little of that now, I guess.
Yeah. The movie better be something I really, really need to see if I'm going to set aside the time and money to see it. This ain't it. It's not about Leto (who I agree sucks), but about our collective deteriorating material conditions right now.

A very happy birthday to Rumiko Takahashi! Born on October 10, 1957 in Niigata, she is entering into her 47th year as a mangaka! Happy birthday, sensei!
She is!

Is she Zandalari? I can't even tell anymore. I'm not up on all the newer customization options.
Donatello is easily the best one.
Ask Barbra Streisand how responding to it worked for her.
This is the internet. People don't tend to be that rational.
I have zero context for what is going on here and this statement sounds absolutely unhinged even to me.
I was very confused, too.

I looked it up and it's apparently the 25th anniversary of Future Press, the guide's publisher.
@sleepybro.bsky.social is absolutely correct.

And it's all genuinely exhausting, listening to people day in, day out, boil your right to exist down to political rhetoric and internet debatelord talking points. I genuinely look forward to the day we're past this bullshit.
She didn't say what she said to be pragmatic. She said what she said, because she was being a calculating politician who, in her calculation, didn't want her campaign pulled down by an issue that they don't feel most Americans either care about or even view favorably.
I think this is all sidestepping the real issue here, which is that Harris purely saw the rhetoric about trans people and our rights as an albatross around the neck of her and her campaign.
It's a losing battle. These people are aggressively dull.
