If anything, progressivism was a reaction to liberalism. Progressives never did a civil rights movement, but it would have been far more consistent with progressivism than leftism or even liberalism. Leftists don’t really concern themselves at all with civil rights, instead focusing only on ‘class.’

I'm concerned that some of the point is being missed... This is to show that Trump can make anyone's life painful, even absent convictions - he'll even absent reasonable cases! I also suspect it's a method of building a list of "noncompliant" courts for future culling.

I don’t know if anyone is keeping score but groups affiliated with Frey and Joe Rad have now been found guilty of campaign violations at least twice in this election cycle.That doesn’t even count the one guilty guy they were helping lying about his residence for caucusing. Sheesh!

So, how's @robertpeters.bsky.social stacking up? At least some of the Democrats have matched their messaging to the threat. I'm wagering this is at least in part due to @katmabu.bsky.social and other women, particularly Black Women, showing the rest of us how to fight.
