My take on the Jan 23 action in Minneapolis is that I don’t really care whether it’s a “true” general strike (we could argue about that all day).
What DOES matter is that it’s a bold and necessary escalation, and local labor leaders are publicly encouraging workers to join in anti-ICE resistance

Also, any Democrat who won’t get on board with abolishing ICE (as opposed to continually voting for increased funding and decreased accountability in some foolhardy courting of the xenophobe vote) needs to be driven not only from the party but ideally from politics and public life altogether.

Yeah I don't know how to fully express that I feel like my soul is basically damaged by the way I feel about the regime & its agents at this point.
