First the USDA refused to use its contingency to fund SNAP.

Then they threatened grocery stores for giving discounts to SNAP recipients.

A court had to order the government to feed its citizens.

Trump filed an appeal to stay the order.

Now they’re telling States to claw SNAP back.

New guidance from USDA on Saturday informs states to move ahead with partial food stamp payments only given the Supreme Court stay.

As a military brat, I never understood the arguments against services to the American people that they gave us: free healthcare and services, lower cost stores and rec(commissionary - grocery, PX, movie theatre, etc.), free gyms (MWR with pools even), child care, etc. #SNAP

I've become fascinated with AI discourse, & the degree to which some people are letting it seep into every part of their minds and lives has jumped from "alarming" to "crisis". The internet wasn't a mistake, but having no mental health guardrails was.

(Social media, however, was a terrible idea.)

People like me and 42M that receive SNAP Benefits every month don't even have cake to eat without the help and assistance of the USDA. We can if we're lucky ask others or food pantries (that are stretched to the MAX).
