It's been three weeks since the storm. Shovel out these cars, tow them, and turn the space into bike parking, public seating, on-street garbage containerization, bioswales... anything other than car storage would serve more people than this.

AI reminds me of the advertising industry. Many people believe advertising is ineffective and a waste of money with studies they can cite to back it up, yet it remains a trillion dollar a year industry.

AI tools seem to be following the same trajectory.

Nvidia stock has soared in recent years thanks to the strength of its AI products.

Epstein-Barr, herpes, and shingles vaccines shelved should get people hounded out of society. That’s beyond anti-vaccine or anti-intellectualism. It’s reactionary know-nothingism. If there’s such a thing as technological solutionism, this is tech problematicizing.

Except critically malfunctioning and/or dying; those are really easy in space.

Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones.

Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.

JD’s on his 3rd name
Will this bill affect him?

Will JD be forced to provide documents for approval to some faceless board so they can either say yea or nay to him voting?

How can JD vote under this bill?

The annual change in GDP topped 15% in only five years since 1929 -- four times under FDR and once under Truman.

Conservatives at the time, and since, denounced those presidents for practicing "socialism," which Trump claims is the top problem constricting the economy today.
TRUMP: We can grow at 15 percent. I think more than that!

KUDLOW: Well, 15 is a big number sir

TRUMP: But Larry, you can do it. We used to grow at 15 percent because we had spirit. Today we have a lot of communism
