City Child living in the country. For the Earth, First! For Democrats, for feisty women, for the animals and birds and fish. 100% done with billionaires/corporate apologists. We're in the fight for the future now -- lead, follow, or go home and wait.
I feel so bad for them.On the up side, when we've unloaded Trump and his techbro bought-and-paid for minions, ended "AI" in it's current stillborn incarnation, and nationalized these facilities, we'll have wonderful places to site big batteries and electrical grid management/operations systems!

China is planning to do a Trump-style, "I never agreed to that," walkaway from any committments they may have made. Trump's claim about soybean purchases are just to CYA, so that he can, 1) screw over farmers yet not compensate them; and 2) let his oligarch buddies buy up their land from bankruptcy.
Want to know how bad Donald Trump is losing his trade war with China?

Last month, he said China will buy 12 million tons of US soybeans by January. China hasn’t even bought 1/10th of that amount yet.

Trump is getting played by China while American farmers pay the price.
CNBC: My understanding is the White House said that China was gonna buy 12 million tons of soybeans from the US by January. That's approaching and they've only purchased 332,000. China has not confirmed that pledge.

BROOKE ROLLINS: Your point is salient. We've got a significant way to go

The reason it takes 2 incomes to have a family these days, dodo, is that we've used up most of the natural resources the world offered to us: clean air & water, unsullied land, energy. Our country's Cardinal Sin, Greed, has become the only raison de etre for the billionaire & hyper-wealthy among us.
This is what we call poster madness right?

Here is my peace plan for Ukraine/Russia.

1. Russia gets the fuck out of Ukraine.

2. Putin goes on trial in the Hague.

3. Russia pays everyone for everything.

4. Trump gets impeached, convicted, and sent to jail.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

I've made this before -- I got the original recipe from Jezebel, during its salad years. They. Are. Really. Good.

Bought Food fot T'giving, then just stopped. Gonna make customized bookmarks for the relatives this weekend, then, next week, apple cider caramels as stocking presents! If I had known a little sooner, I'd have started an ICE protest for my local Home Depot. Dammit!
See you on the other side. ✌🏻

was in a coma for 5 days. I assume you're getting good medical care, so here's the 2 sets of advice from my neurologist:"You are a human being, not a human *doing.*": You are not what you can accomplish.
The other is to get more sleep. 9-10 hours a night is the standard when dealing with the brain.

Scott Bessent on the administration's affordability plan: "We'll see. He's the president of solutions, and I'm sure that we will have a solution to this."

(Note the complete lack of pushback to this by Rebecca Quick and contrast with her recent attempted ambush of Hakeem Jeffries)

Though it *is* the natural endpoint of the "constant 'improvements' we don't need," strategy. Shoving AI into new computers isn't helping, either.

Wow — Senators Van Hollen, Smith, Murphy, Sanders, Warren, Markey, Merkley, Heinrich have created an official internal "Fight Club."

They're challenging Schumer & Gillibrand's leadership, arguing the party is using an old, corporate-friendly playbook insufficient to take on Trump or win elections.
