A reminder that it wasn't just the use of AI - players were willing to give the benefit of the doubt that RWS was being duped. It was RWS's absolute horrific attitude towards its fans that killed this game as well and it's suspicious that's not mentioned at all here.

Was suddenly reminded of Jade Cocoon while chatting with @brandonbovia.bsky.social tonight. I don't think many people even remember that this was a joint project with Studio Ghibli. I remember demos of it, but never picked it up. There were just so many PS1 RPGs to play.
