My neighbor’s daughter is a middle school science teacher. She was teaching a lesson about weather with occasion to refer to the Gulf of Mexico. Her students SCREAMED at her that it’s the Gulf of America, now. We live in fucking MASSACHUSETTS. Can’t help but feel doomed.
