Finally Spooky Season is upon us. Here's a little preview of my Auntie Ethel fic I wrote for @bg3hallozine.bsky.social - coming out this Halloween!

If she had a child, she would be able to draw strength from it. Mold it into the perfect hag. Then, feverish, Ethel imagined two, and maybe even three children under her tutelage. Three hags. A coven. A perfect coven to brew the nightmares of the inferior mortals that plagued the land till the end of time.

Like a tapeworm in swamp waters, motherhood festered within Ethel, making her feverish with hope.

We won! It was really stressful but with some lucky misses and judicious use of Take Cover but we made it!

The best part is our GM is randomizing loot. We found....a mobile inn..Considering this game is about exploration the RV (as it is now called) will be extra helpful.

A mobile inn is the next step up from an armored carriage, bringing the limited comforts of a simple (and cramped) inn stay to make long distance journeys more bearable for wealthy travelers. Essentially a tiny inn on wheels, powered by alchemical catalysts and a steam engine, the vehicle is equipped with a stove, storage cupboard, washbasin, table, two benches, and a compact sleeping loft large enough to accommodate four. It can be modified to accommodate a single passenger in significantly more comfort or to easily hold 5 passengers by stripping the accommodations.

Can the party win before my character is destroyed? I hope the dice are on our side.

Fun fact: Reincarnate for pf2e brings the PC back as a random race. If we fail, Edmond could come back as a dwarf, or a drow, or even another human. (I like my gentleman vampire, lets hope we win).
