Just sent out my free weekend update. Though the reporting this week made it crystal clear that the Trump administration is with Putin, that was not a bad thing for Ukraine. Accepting the truth is the first step to recovery-and the truth cannot now be denied. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Beyond surreal. The message to Moscow is that European defense is not a priority.
Can’t decide who this is worse for, the EU or the UK. But the real looser, of course, is European defence. So all of us.

Oh uh, what happened with Rosneft? 😏

Expect more of these types of photos today.

As I revealed a few days ago, Hungary's PM is on his way to Moscow to meet the indicted war criminal.

Or(c)bán is also taking him with FM Péter Szijjártó, Transport Min János Lászláz and NSA Marzel Bíró. The EU was not informed.

If it's true, if the US is willing to allow borders to be redrawn by force and let aggressors be rewarded, then the gates of hell are about to be opened.

This may prove to be the single most destabilizing and conflict-spawning decision of the 21st century.

A truly Black Friday.

Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

So if we support Ukraine for another year or so, chances are Russia will basically go bankrupt. I hope it will be the end of Putin, and it will certainly be the end of the war effort, that got started when Putin mistakenly thought annexing Ukraine would be easy.

A country where the president can ask election officials to 'find' another 11,780 votes and not be prosecuted, while citizens are brutalized for exercising their constitutional rights is not a nation of laws.
