Wolf rider X! Day ten of #gobtober has a goblin with thighs of steel. I think my favorite detail is the spittle coming out of his mouth, mirroring his steed. Also: I’m pretty pleased with the wolf pose for not using a reference!

Here’s another fun one (?) - 9. Wizard. This one isn’t quite as successful as a Goblin, because he is so obscured, but I really wanted to do an Orko / Donald (from Fat Albert) look. Enjoy! #gobtober

#gobtober continued with 7. Knight.
I had a lot of fun designing this one. 💚 it was interesting to lean more into the technical schematic side of things- like how the lion face in the stomach provides some visibility for the lower gobbo

Kind of struggled with the overall value separation, but I was very happy with the mood and layout of the sketch. I find I can sketch characters and thumbnails pretty quickly but when it comes to painting & establishing tones, that takes me a lot longer

Day 5 of #gobtober y’all! The other end of the spectrum: Hunted
This one kind of got away from me as I was compelled to do this entire scene.
A scared goblin with a suspiciously full sack, hiding behind a fallen log in the woods. A couple of humans with a dog are looking for the goblin. You can see they hold a hunting horn, a sword and a torch.
