Get with the program and start playing actual politics. For example, not keeping Biden in the presidential race, not appealing to Republicans while alienating huge swaths of your own constituency, attacking young politicians in your own party, always having shitty messaging on everything, etc.

Their problem is they can only have one thought, feeling, or opinion at a time so it's impossible for them to understand being both enraged by Republicans and angry at Democrats at the same time.

They won't. This is why Republicans act the way they do. They know Democrats will never use the powers to do good. The corporate arm of the Democratic party still needs money from private corporations that benefit from their complacency.

Know your fascism

The 14 characteristics are:

Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights
Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

Supremacy of the Military
Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

Rampant Sexism
The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

Controlled Mass Media
Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

Obsession with National Security
Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

Religion and Government are Intertwined

It's no worse than any other disabilities. But for years, it was billed as one of the most tragic outcomes possible for kids. It was seen as a symptom of schizophrenia or this condition that drove children into a catatonic state. The fact mothers were blamed for it made the stigma worse.

I don’t exactly how to phrase this, but like… is autism that bad???? Like, why is it such a source of fear??? Of course there are challenges but you can be autistic and have a rich, fulfilling life! Many people do! I don’t understand the preoccupation.

40 yr old ADHDer, and I'm constantly told "you don't look hyper" anytime I mention being ADHD. People don't know anything about the disease unless they or a close loved one has it.

As an Ohioan graduate of a private (Jesuit) institution, I've never experienced bias in any course. You are there to learn the subject matter in a clear & concise way without things getting muddied with deviations depending on political winds. If the Catholics can do it so can the public schools.

I have looked at this a ton and he's right! There are NO rigorous peer reviewed studies showing faculty political leanings translate into skewed teaching or any form of vindictive grading or censorship on a systemic scale. Yes there are anecdotes, no there is NOT evidence of a widespread issue. 🗃️
