So true. Waiting for the Out, written by Dennis Kelly, is way better than most TV / streaming drama now - there’s depth and nuance in the script, acting, directing etc.

Tough ol' time for art sales of late and I depend solely on it for a living, so if you like anything I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for friends or family. If you hate what I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for enemies or nemeses.
If, like me, you did NOT get the ONE thing you wanted from Santy (a 95-year-old bachelor farmer with plenty land and a bad cough), treat yourself to a print from an Irish doodler instead - big discounts across the shop, including on bundles, so go on. Go on go on go ON.

Sometime ago I was on here looking for a probation officer who was working in 2010 in the UK and who also might have worked with prisoners pre release. I can’t remember who got in touch but if there is anyone who fits the bill, pls get in touch. It’s for a book,

Many thanks.

Sorry to hear this. I interviewed John Quinn for the Irish Examiner re his book Letters to Olive (his late wife) some years ago -
"He was also an accomplished author of both fiction and non-fiction, with his children’s novel The Summer of Lily and Esme winning the 1992 Bisto Children’s Book of the Year award."

'Tangier Bay at Night.' During his time in Tangier, John Lavery painted many nocturnes which for the most part are subtle transitions of grey and blue, adopting the vocabulary of Whistler, an artist he greatly respected. This is from 1913.
