I did my first commute today around Saint Paul. It was relatively quiet. I hope every day is this quiet, but I am prepared if it is not.

I am driving folks to school, work, and appointments. People are scared. But in my car, we are feeling a little joy. We are playing music and building community. I am not going to let them take our joy. We can hold multiple truths and feelings.

Disheartening to see federal agents take two neighbors on 29th & Pillsbury. Chemical irritants were used on observers by them.
MPD showed up on scene, created a pathway for these federal agents to kidnap our neighbors, and assisted with controlling the space. Disappointing and heartbreaking.

We're coming up on caucuses in under 2 months, and with caucuses come resolutions. This year, I'm pushing for fining larger corporations for an amount proportional to 1.5x which their employees receive basic human services from the state. The form can be found here:
