Happy 1st birthday, Dragon Age: Dad Wolf 🐉🐺

A mixture of some of the best work of my career working alongside the most awesome people, with crushing office politics and toxic mismanagement that nearly killed me in about five different ways.

We stood for something though, and for that I'm proud.

A holiday near and dear to my heart!
Today (it started hours ago in Australia) is World Wombat Day. These lovable beasts are facing formidable challenges--habitat destruction, cars, mange--leaving 2 of the 3 species endangered.

There are many rescues devoted to aiding wombats either coming out of the wild or going in. Check 'em out!

I was only ever there for the people, so no regrets for SoCal itself. Enjoying seasons and affordable living and building up savings. Being able to walk or get light rail to places, not need to drive everywhere. Occasionally I miss the warmth, but Sydney was prettier and had better healthcare.
He went to London Drugs in the brewery district.
My taller half discovered that many drug stores do still have them. Out of pocket cost is $130. If your vaccines are covered through Alberta Health, you still have to go through one of their vaccine clinics, but if you have drug coverage like Blue Cross, you can use that to reduce the cost.

Double ugh. I told her, They don’t want me. (Hey, I don’t want me, either, but I’m stuck with me.)

My poem "Dust" is about passing on, passing things on... and porcelain cats.

With that… any of my followers do documentation for their job; audience ranging from new intern or administrator to technical or analyst roll? I am looking for advice on a good style guide I can share with my staff, because I’m not writing my own. 😬

fondly remembering the time one of our community members dressed up as Nandor the Relentless and took him on a day of adventures in Spirit Crossing .. 🧛

Congratulations to my former coworkers on launching Ghost of Yōtei today!
Ghost of Yōtei has an effective and incredibly satisfying setup, and its core idea – the joy of knowing your goals and completing them – extends to every element of the game creating a consistently satisfying experience that is difficult to put down.

Also congratulations to my other friend and former coworker @briannebattye.bsky.social on the recognition of her recent short story! 🥳
… I have been so very lucky to work with so many extraordinarily talented people over the years. 😮
So thrilled and honoured to see "Welcome to Spruceway" on this list.
@bookjockeyalex.bsky.social is recommending a body horror summer camp, a Carmilla retelling, and a cursed postman (and many more). Which of August's must-read SFF short stories will you pick up first?

Where did the years go to???! But we all knew it was only a matter of time for you to be published, especially after the 50,000 word Shadow Odyssey expansion intro stories 🤣 Huge congratulations!
Finally had time to pick up my preorder of my friend and former co-worker @mizdoomcookie.bsky.social ‘s new #romance novel! Can’t wait to start reading it 🥰 Also can’t believe it’s been over 15 years since we started working together on a little game called #EQ2. 😮 #books
