there's research to do

As was said at today’s hearing, if you don’t want to be called fascists, stop acting like them.

I’m glad they’re suing—and calling it out so all can see.

Younger generations don't realize how influential The Beatles were. The guitar didn't exist before The Beatles invented it. Songs didn't have lyrics before Paul McCartney wrote Hey Jude. Music used to be a bunch of guys in a field, clapping rocks together and yelling "Shaw! Shaw!" up at the sun.

These dudes think this is so clever.

Beyond the difference in harms that accompanies the age limits for booze and voting, there were 26,000+ arrests of minors for liquor law violations in 2019. It’s a relatively common crime.

There are functionally no arrests each year for in-person voter fraud.

But in reality, MAHA has been focused on firing the food and medical research experts who actually make America healthy.

Bad Bunny’s performance began in the plantation, featured broken electric poles, and ended by centering a hemispheric understanding of “América”—among many other things—and some Anglo journalists are like “his performance wasn’t political.”

This is why we need to be telling our stories.

Puerto Rico hasn't had reliable power in a decade.

The grid sends occasional surges through the wires that fry appliances.

Electricity rates are among the highest in the entire U.S.

Heat waves are getting intense in the summer, and outages mean A/C is no guarantee for an aging population.

She began to unravel soon after arriving at a detention center in Texas, wetting the bed after years without accidents, crying through the night and begging to breastfeed again.

“Don’t talk to me about my own morality,” DeLauro shot back.

“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”
