And their barbarous liberty is not dissimilar to that of the so-called women of liberty in China today.

Having no time to run, Ching Nam shinned up to a tree top. In fright, the group darted for cover in all directions. Several people fell and lay prone on the ground. Those lying at the rear were immediately savaged by the beast. Spotting this from his tree, Ching Nam's eyes bulged with rage and the desire came on him to summon all his strength and go down to save them, but he knew he was no match for the beast. Exigency inducing sudden ingenuity, Ching Nam pulled out a sharp blade from about his waist, and focusing on the beast threw it down with force, striking the animal right on the back. Blood spurted forth, and it gave a loud howl, before retreating into the undergrowth.

Ching Nam jumped down and inspected those who had been savaged. But, their skulls crushed, they had already expired. He then picked up the blade he had
