Unfortunately, in US journalism it is considered neutral to spread a lie, but it is considered "biased" to call out a lie. So, there is a structural asymmetry that rewards colorful lies with virality.

As with Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner's engagement with Russian-Ukrainian peacemaking appears to be entirely about finding the prospects for self-enrichment. How can a modern democracy allow such grotesque corruption to be substituted for its diplomacy? But then, America is no longer a democracy.

this is my biggest issue with "AI" in higher education, the amount of time it eats up--time and energy I DO NOT HAVE
It’s infuriating to me that I need to evaluate media to determine whether it’s AI generated now. The great “time saver” technology wastes incalculable time and energy for people who want to retain their grasp on reality

How comfortable should editors be with headlines that amplify the claims of an unverified claim, not subject to peer review, by a known vaccine skeptic?

And yet… none will
Every news organization should report this as a lie, as a propaganda campaign, as counter all medical evidence. Saying “FDA says” is malpractice.
Vinay Prasad of the FDA claims that he has proof that 10 children died from COVID19 vaccines, so the FDA will now target flu shots, look at whether people should receive multiple vaccines at the same time, and make the vaccine approval process significantly more difficult.

This is so reckless. The science shows us that COVID vaccines have saved millions of lives.
