It’s crazy how many cool and unique spinoff games (and original titles) only existed on the Nintendo DS due to the console’s unique features and limitations. Losing that has been one of the worst things about modern gaming.

It likely helps that (from what I've seen) Japanese gamers love Undertale and Deltarune. For as much as 00's types banged on about how Japanese games couldn't have a worldwide reach, Toby proved that they were the ones who really lacked any worldwide enthusiasm
