Spent all day in ED with our youngest for suicidal ideation. Waiting on transport for inpatient care 6 hours away with bad weather closing in.
Fuck those guys with the shitty attitudes about mental health.
Fuck shitty for-profit healthcare.
Fuck having to worry about cost.

Two things about the spider were unique:
they lived in caves & laid cubic eggs.

I got accosted in the kindergarten pickup line by a mom who was livid that my kid had said "no" when asked if he liked her daughter's new shoes. I just looked at her, and asked, "Does SHE like them?" 1/2
The world would be a better place if people understood that distinction and that when I say I don’t like something that doesn’t necessarily mean that I think that thing is bad or poorly made. Understand the difference between personal preferences and actual criticism.
