Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.
ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.
This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.

Today is the birthday of cartoonist Morrie Turner (Dec. 11, 1923–Jan. 25, 2014). A WWII veteran & mechanic for the Tuskegee Airman, he created the comic strip Wee Pals, the first with an integrated cast. It ran from 1965-2014, and was adapted into an animated series (Kid Power) by ABC in 1972. 1/2

It's so fucking insane that a state with nukes is attacking a state without nukes on the grounds that they might one day in the future have nukes and not a single person in the media is stating that fact.
I dunno, frankly insane that we were bullied into silence about a genocide and I don’t think we should be bullied into silence about the same state actors bombing a new population of civilians and starting a major world war

Many of the LA Sheriffs didn't have their gas masks on yet so the Sheriffs got gassed by LAPD
LAPD was on the radio crying about getting shot by rubber bullets by the sheriffs, so I'd say fair trade
